Football Coaching students attend Welcome Day

Students studying Bridgwater College’s Level 2 Diploma in Coaching Football in Community Settings, recently held a Welcome Day for new students starting in September, with a special guest appearance by Preston North End FC player, Scott Laird.

The students were able to take part in a Futsal tournament, fitness tests, gym sessions and meet professional footballer, Scott. The day gave the prospective students a taste of what to expect when they begin in September.

Reegan Scotcher, from Courtfields School said, “A great day in Bridgwater College! I was even able to meet Scott Laird. Can’t wait to start this course in September.”

Andy Gill, Programme Manager said, “It was a great day for all of our staff and new students. We got to see some of the students who are going to be starting with us in September and got to know them a little more and find out about their personalities and characteristics. We can’t wait for them to get started with us in September now.”
