Al Sylvester is walking from Lands End to John O’Groats in aid of Swindon Hospice and the Hospice movement generally. Phil Knighton met up with him as he passed through Wellington and talked to him about the project. A great friend of Al died of cancer in his forties a short while ago and Al decided to do the walk to raise the profile of the hospice movement.
