Two planning applications, one for the Eastern side (PM Asset Management) and the second for the West (Ptarmigan) are being considered by Taunton Deane’s planning department.
The proposed development would deliver 1628 homes, a primary school, employment space, shops, community facilities, public open green space, allotments and sports pitches. The plans also include a new spine road linking the A358 Staplegrove Road to Kingston Road which is said to help reduce traffic on Corkscrew Lane and Manor Road by over 60%.
