Do you skip Breakfast? Research for Farmhouse Breakfast Week indicates that 47% of us in Somerset do just that! While 6% of Somersets residents think skipping Breakfast will help them lose weight.
Registered Dietitian Azmina Govindji spoke with Apple FM JayJay on Breakfast this morning and said 36% of Somerset’s residents who skip breakfast are hungry by mid morning and normally snack on unhealthy sugary snacks. The aim of Farmhouse Breakfast Week is to highlight the importance of eating a good balanced diet with breakfast being the most important meal of the day!
Azmina told Apple “although most of us lead busy lives it is important to try to introduce some form of food into our morning routines” Men are normally better at eating breakfast then woman because they have the family to arrange plus deciding what to wear for work. Ladies need to make time for something even if it’s a bit of wholemeal toast or a branded breakfast biscuit”
