Back in 2010 his close family friend John ‘Manny’ Manuel was killed by a suicide bomber while serving in Afghanistan along with three of his other his fellow Marines.

In 2012 whilst on H17, 40 Commando received terrible news. Cpl. Dave O’Connor was killed by Taliban fighters.

These are just two of many people that Colin has chosen to take part in the charity cycle ride for.

The Charity Colin is raising money for is The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund as a Thank You for all the hard work they do!

On August 2nd, 2014  Colin will be cycling 350 miles in 24 hours starting at the Royal Marines Museum in Portsmouth then to Blanford, Lympstone, Taunton, Yeovil and finishing back at the Museum in Portsmouth.

His target is to raise £500, can you help him reach his target?
