Appeal: Man (76) returning from chemotherapy treatment pushed on bus leaving South Road, Taunton

Avon and Somerset Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to about an assault on a bus.

A 76 year old man was pushed while on the number 99 Stagecoach at about 4.30pm on Tuesday 21 July, following a dispute over a seat. The bus had departed South Road in Taunton.

The victim, who was returning from having chemotherapy treatment, suffered minor cuts to his arm after being pushed.

The man police are trying to trace is described as white and he was wearing a black t-shirt, black baseball cap and he had headphones on.


Update 24/08/2015:

Avon and Somerset Police have now interviewed a man on a voluntary basis.

Their enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
