The Met Office has issued a yellow alert of wind for South West England tomorrow (Friday).
The areas affected are likely to be:
Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Somerset, South Gloucestershire & Wiltshire.
The Met Office’s Chief Forecaster said:
“An active trough will move quickly from west to east on Friday morning, bringing heavy, showery rain with a risk of thunder. Winds will become briefly squally with gusts of 50-60 mph possible, perhaps locally up to 70 mph along exposed coasts and hills. Winds will ease a little by mid morning but remain strong and gusty.”
The warning is valid from 04:00 – 10:00 Friday 13 November.
