The Met Office has issued a yellow alert of wind for South West England tomorrow.
The areas affected are likely to be:
Bath and North East Somerset, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Isles of Scilly, North Somerset, Plymouth, Poole, Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon, Torbay, Wiltshire.
The Met Office’s Chief Forecaster said:
“A further depression will move quickly east across the UK on Monday, crossing northern England in the afternoon. A swathe of gales is expected to the south of the depression’s track. Although wind strengths will probably be slightly less than Sunday’s system there is still the possibility of some localised low level impacts.”
The warning is valid from 09:00 – 18:00 on Monday 30 November.
