FLOOD WARNING in force for River Tone from Bathpool to Ham including Ruishton and Creech St Michael

A flood warning is in force for the River Tone from Bathpool to Ham including Ruishton and Creech St Michael and riverside properties.

The warning which has been issued by the Environment Agency states:

“Up to 25 mm of rainfall has fallen on the River Tone catchment since 8:00 am this morning. The rainfall has generally passed out of the area however river levels are still responding. The river level on the River Tone at Bishops Hull at 8:20pm was 1.67m and rising. The level is expected to peak around 1.9 m later this evening, 30/12/2015.”
