Man and woman left with significant injuries after vehicles collide near Watchet

Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision between two vehicles left a man and a woman with significant injuries.

The incident happened at approximately 7.30am on Friday, 8 January on the B3224 at Brendon Hill near Watchet.

A grey Suzuki Ignis and a black BMW were travelling towards each other when they collided.

The woman driving the Suzuki suffered leg injuries and was taken to Musgrove Park hospital for treatment.

The man driving the BMW was taken to Southmead hospital with serious leg and head injuries by air ambulance.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who saw the vehicles prior to the collision, to call 101 quoting log 155 of 8/1/16.
