A flood warning is in force for the River Tone from Bathpool to Ham including Ruishton and Creech St Michael, riverside properties.
The warning, issued by the Environment Agency states;
“20mm of rain has already fallen over the River Tone catchment. In some locations we are expecting another 35mm of rainfall from 14:30 pm through to about 20:00 pm this evening, 06/02/2016. River levels on the River Tone at Bishops Hull are rising in response to this rainfall.”
The warning was last updated at 16:43 today (Saturday).
A flood warning for the River Tone from Waterrow to Taunton and a flood alert for the River Tone Catchment, both issued this morning, remain in place.
An amber warning of rain, affecting Cornwall, Devon, Plymouth, Somerset and Torbay, is valid until 18:00 tonight (Saturday).
A yellow warning of rain, affecting Bath and North East Somerset, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, North Somerset, Plymouth, Poole, Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Torbay, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Swindon, is valid until 22:00 tonight (Saturday).
