Appeal for witnesses after truck driver drives into car forcing it off road near Corfe

Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident in a car park off the B3170 near Corfe in the early hours of last Sunday (24 July).

The victim was with two other people when he drove his black Vauxhall Astra into the Staple Hill car park.

A man in a blue pick-up truck threatened to harm the victim if his car’s headlights were shone on his vehicle again.

As the victim tried to reverse, the offender drove his truck into the front of his car, forcing it onto a grass verge, before driving off.

The offender was white, aged between 40 and 60, of large build, balding with some grey hair and clean shaven. He was wearing a cream, black and white checked shirt.
