Avon and Somerset Police have charged 23 year-old Jake Lamport, from West Drayton, Hillingdon, Middlesex with grievous bodily harm.
This follows an incident on the 25 April 2016 in The Apple and Parrot public house in Taunton, where a man was left with a broken jaw that required reconstructive surgery.
Mr Lamport will be appearing at Taunton Magistrates Court next month.
