A yellow weather warning of ice and fog is in place across South West England.
The Met Office has warned that areas of freezing fog, some dense, are expected to form this evening and last into tomorrow morning.
The fog will become more widespread through the night, with icy patches on untreated roads and paths an additional hazard.
The Met Office has also warned that travelling conditions will be difficult with journeys likely to take longer than usual and delays to air travel are possible.

The Met Office’s Chief Forecaster said:
“Stagnant air will remain across the area, allowing fog to form readily. Frost deposited by the fog will give surfaces an icy covering which may be thick enough to make roads and pavements slippery.”
The warning affecting Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Bournemouth, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Poole, Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Devon and North Somerset is valid from 18:00 on Tuesday 24 January to 11:00 on Wednesday 25 January.
