All lanes have reopened following a car fire on the M5 Southbound between Junctions 25 and 26.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received
Two fire appliances from Taunton and Bridgwater were immediately mobilised following a call from a member of the public reporting a car on fire on the M5 Southbound between Junctions 25 and 26 at 12:59 this afternoon (Sunday).
On arrival, the incident commander confirmed one vehicle on the hard shoulder was well alight and got to work using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, a dry powder extinguisher and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
The incident was handed over to the vehicle owners and highways.
