With so much to pack in to their action-packed Winter Wonderland programme it’s no wonder that Christmas starts early at Wookey Hole Caves in Somerset.
With lasers and lights, wrestlers and elves as well as a special visit from Santa, the popular inland resort opens the doors of its Winter Wonderland on Saturday November 17.
Wookey Hole Caves Managing Director Daniel Medley said the resort would be pulling out all the stops for visitors of all ages.

Tickets cost just £15 and allow visitors to enjoy a magical Christmas tour of the caves and meet festive characters as they wander through the magnificent grotto before being greeted by the elves and then meeting Santa – who will present every child with a wrapped present.
The 4D Cinema will premier ‘Happy Feet’ – a brand new show for 2018.
Daniel said: “Children will become fully immersed in the 4D experience with moving seats, 3D vision, wind effects and sprinklers! This 4D Festive adventure is shown every 30 minutes. A great day out which will be fantastic value, affordable and memorable!”
Also new for 2018 is the Christmas Spectacular Circus Show with feats of magic and astounding circus acts from around the World. Performers deliver a show stopping line-up of trapeze, hula, juggling and magic.
All visitors between November 17 and December 24 will receive a free Return Visit after Christmas. All you need to do is bring along your original receipt by January 6 2019 for re-entry worth up to £15pp.
Another highlight of the resort’s Christmas programme is the return of the Megaslam Wrestling spectacular.
Daniel Medley said: “Back by popular demand, the Megaslam Wrestling event will take place on Saturday December 15. This fast paced, energetic and vibrant show is fully interactive and features something for all ages to enjoy.”
The two-hour attraction will include a special grudge bout between Santa and the Grinch!
The ticket Office opens 5pm with doors open from 7pm. The show starts at 7.30pm
