Santa swaps sleigh for Helicopter!

Santa is getting the festive season off to a flying start when he arrives by Helicopter on December 9th!

Visitors to The Helicopter Museum will be able to see him land – and get the chance to meet him in his specially built Winter Wonderland Helicopter Grotto!

Santa’s Elves have arrived ahead of time to build the festive walk-through for everyone to explore – and even get the chance to sit in Santa’s magical sleigh.

Belle & the Beast will also be there to share the festive fun!  Families will be able to get their photo taken with their favourite characters, play games, jump into some open cockpits and even have a go on a Flight Simulator!

“With Santa due to arrive at around 11.00am, we are expecting a trail of magic and festive fun to follow” says Marketing Assistant Shaly Dee, “Santa always enjoys meeting the families and visiting Weston-super-Mare, which is much warmer than the North Pole!”

“Children under 15 years old go Free to this event!

Parents will also get a chance to get some Christmas shopping in at our Charity Stalls!”

All set against the unusual background of the world’s largest dedicated helicopter collection! The Helicopter Museum is a registered charity (no. 281053) and home to iconic aircraft such as the Queens Royal Flight Wessex and a Russian Hind Gunship – so there really is something for the whole family at this year’s Christmas Fun Day.

Open from 10.00am on Sunday December 9th.
