Thatchers Cider thanks front line workers throughout South West with alcohol-free cider

Thatchers Cider has been delivering alcohol-free cider to front line workers at hospitals and ambulance stations throughout the South West as a thank you for all they are doing.

The Somerset cider maker has been on the road over the last week delivering supplies of Zero to paramedics and NHS workers at Yeovil Hospital, Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital and South-West ambulance stations across Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire & Bristol.

15,000 bottles of alcohol-free Zero cider were given away to the front line earlier this year as a thank you.

Martin Thatcher, fourth generation cider maker said:

“During lockdown we’re thinking of all those working on the front line looking out for us all and taking care of those in need.

Now more than ever we need to think of our communities, so we’re sending cider to health care workers with our thanks and appreciation for all they’re doing.”

Taunton ambulance station will soon be getting a delivery.

A spokesperson for Thatchers Cider told Apple FM:

“Taunton ambulance station will be receiving their Thatchers Zero on our next delivery run in the coming weeks.”
