Musical entertainment and children’s activities will be among the attractions at the St Margaret’s Hospice Summer Fete in Taunton this summer, proudly sponsored by Gibbins Richards.
Everyone is welcome to join in the fun on Saturday, July 24. The event will feature a raffle, a barbecue, tombolas, a variety of external stalls and much more!
As with so many events, last year’s fete was unable to take place so this year the hospice hopes that there will be a real community feel as we celebrate coming back together whilst raising funds to care and support patients and their families who are facing a life-limiting illness across Somerset.
Kara Frampton, Area Manager Community Partnerships for St. Margaret’s Hospice, said: “We’re hoping this year’s fete will bring the community together after what has been a difficult year. We want everyone to have fun and see what brilliant work the hospice provides helping people across Somerset. We had a great time at our 2019 Fete, and we would love to see lots of people at this year’s fete. Guaranteed fun for all!”

St Margaret’s Hospice Care say there will be Covid-19 restrictions in place at this year’s event to ensure everyone is safe and they would ask that everyone follow these guidelines.
The fete is taking place from 11am to 3pm on Saturday, July 24 at St Margaret’s Hospice in Heron Drive, Bishops Hull, TA1 5HA. Entry is £2 for adults and free for children under 14. Free parking will be available at Bridgwater and Taunton College, with a free shuttle bus to the hospice.
