Taunton Brewhouse have introduced Movie Mondays – a great deal for cinema lovers –where you get to see your favourite movie on a Monday morning at 11am with a hot drink and biscuit included for free. They are already proving popular – with a good turnout for West Side Story on Monday 7 February. Just look out for the Movie Monday symbol in Taunton Brewhouse’s brochure.
Coming up over the next few months is:
- Belfast (12A) on Monday 14 March. A poignant story of love, laughter and loss in one boy’s childhood, amid the music and social tumult of the late 1960s. Written and directed by Academy Award nominee Kenneth Branagh.
- Death On The Nile (PG13) on Monday 28 March. A classic Agatha Christie with an all-star cast. Glamorous locations, stunning costumes and of course a murder that only Poirot can solve. Who can resist? Kenneth Branagh stars as the iconic Belgian detective Hercule Poirot
- The Duke (12+) on Monday 11 April. In 1961, Kempton Bunton, a 60-year old taxi driver, stole Goya’s portrait of the Duke of Wellington from the National Gallery in London. What happened next became the stuff of legend. A warm uplifting tale of a man intent on changing the world.
