Win Somerset festival tickets with hidden pebbles

Somerset residents have a chance to win local festival tickets by finding branded competition pebbles hidden around the county.

100 Beach Pebbles have been hidden around Somerset as part of a fun competition to help raise awareness for fostering and Theo’s Story – a 40 second promotional video from Fostering In Somerset, currently shortlisted for a national award.

Entrants have the chance to win tickets to family-friendly festival, Home Farm Fest, an annual fundraising event for local charity School in a Bag.

The popular music event returns this year after two cancelled festivals due to the pandemic, and takes place from 10th – 12th June 2022 in Chilthorne Domer, near Yeovil.

One winner will receive 5 x full weekend tickets to the festival worth up to £350, which include the option to camp and can be used for adults or children, simply by finding and following the instructions on promotional pebbles.

Competition stones feature two weatherproof stickers, and can be identified by the pawprint image and fostering logo. Pebbles also feature a QR code and web address that link to a competition page, when entered into a web browser or scanned by a smartphone. Hopeful entrants need to watch Theo’s Story, a short promotional video for fostering, before entering their details in the free prize draw.

The competition page can only be accessed by the QR code and link on the pebbles, but hints and tips for pebble locations are being shared on the Fostering In Somerset Facebook and Instagram pages, with many leaving comments and sharing the posts.

Those lucky enough to find a pebble have been encouraged to share a photo on social media using the hashtag #TheosStory to help others in their search.

The competition closes at midnight on 30th April 2022. More information and full competition terms can be found online at https://www.fosteringinsomerset.org.uk/hidden-pebbles-hff-competition.htm
