The event starts at 7.30 pm, on Friday 26th October 2018 at Courtfields School, Wellington.

The Concert features The Wellington Silver Band, Somerset Hills Chorus and Esta Felix, with a Raffle and Refreshments. The event which promises to be an amazing evening of wonderful music and singing, begins with a Drum Head ceremony remembering those that have fallen.

Tickets are available from Porter Dodson Solicitors, Odettes, or at the door on the night and only £6 per person.

This year the Royal British Legion commemorates the centenary of WW1. 100 years ago the guns fell silent on the world’s first truly global war. We believe it is time to think about all of those who lived through this tragic and remarkable time – and who put Britain on the path to becoming what it is today. Please come along and support us and help us provide lifelong support for the Armed Forces community – serving men and women, veterans, and their families.

The Royal British Legion is the UK’s leading Armed Forces charity and one of its largest membership organisations. Members get together through the network of branches and clubs all over the country and overseas to participate in social, fundraising and welfare activities. Wellington Branch meets at 7.30pm on the 3rd Tuesday of every other month at the Wellington Football Club. Membership is open to everyone. If you have an interest in the objectives of the Legion and want to help and support for those who have served and their families, come and join us. We welcome men and women of all ages, whether they have served in the Armed Forces or not.
