Olly Murs has been forced to cancel his summer tour due to unavoidable knee surgery.
The successful operation took place yesterday with Olly now having to spend the next six months in rehab for his knee.
“I am absolutely gutted to have to cancel my summer tour this year, but unfortunately I’ve had to have new major knee surgery” he said.
“I’m devastated I won’t be performing these shows, and can only apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Rest assured I will be fighting fit for new music later this year!”
Olly Murs was set to headline the first night of Live in Somerset which will be taking place at Vivary Park in Taunton this August.
Rag ‘n’ Bone Man will be headlining on Saturday (27 August 2022) followed by Simply Red on Sunday (28 August 2022).
Refunds will be available from the point of purchase and ticketholders have been advised to keep an eye out for any emails from their ticketing agent.
Tickets purchased from Taunton Visitor Centre in person can be returned directly for a refund.
