The family of Sir Roger Moore have said the Actor and UNICEF ambassador has passed away after a short battle with Cancer
A statement was released today on the James Bond star’s Twitter account.
It read: “With the heaviest of hearts, we must share the awful news that our father, Sir Roger Moore, passed away today. We are all devastated.”
Sir Roger was best known for being the third actor to play the British secret agent James Bond in seven feature films between 1973 and 1985 and Simon Templar in The Saint between 1962 and 1969.
