A person was rescued by Taunton fire crews from a vehicle on its side earlier this morning (Sunday).
Two fire appliances and a supporting officer from Taunton were mobilised from Taunton following calls from the police and ambulance service reporting a road traffic collision on Lipe Lane in Ruishton.
Once on the scene, crews confirmed one person was still within the vehicle that was positioned on its side and immediately got to work stabilising the vehicle to allow for casualty assessment.
Crews confirmed one person was extricated from the vehicle and was left in the hands of the ambulance service.
Crews used stabilisation equipment, small tools and e-draulic cutting equipment.
