Live In Somerset have announced the Saturday line-up for 2023.
Headlining the Saturday evening are Scottish legends, The Proclaimers, who will take to the stage on 26 August in Taunton’s Vivary Park.
Twin brothers Craig and Charlie are just about to round up their biggest and most successful UK and Ireland tour this December, which has been a successive sell-out.
2023 is set to be just as busy for the duo, with an Australia and New Zealand tour already booked in, followed by a summer of shows and festivals back on British soil.
The Proclaimers are famously known worldwide for smash hit I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles), released back in 1988, as well as hits including I’m On My Way and Letter From America.
A long list of guests will be joining The Proclaimers.
British rock band The Feeling, singers of Fill My Little World and Love It When You Call, spent the month of October completing their first UK tour in four years.
Keavy, Edele, Sinéad and Lindsay, better known as Irish pop-band B*Witched have also been announced.
Their platinum chart-topping tune C’est La Vie was just one of four B*Witched singles to reach number one in the UK charts, alongside Blame It On The Weatherman, To You I Belong and Rollercoaster.
Also on the line-up is 90s indie-pop band Dodgy, known for tracks Staying Out For The Summer and Good Enough which is officially one of the most played tracks on British radio in the last 25 years.
Scottish singer-songwriter Sandi Thom rounds up the diverse list of special guests.
It has been 16 years since her first single I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker shot to number one in seven different countries.
This is the first line-up to be announced for the Live In Somerset 2023 bank holiday weekend, with future nights still to be confirmed.
The concert promoters, LCC Live’s director, Claire Kidger, said:

Tickets for the Saturday of Live in Somerset go on sale at 09:00 on Friday 9 December and are available to purchase from Ticketline and from Taunton Visitor Centre.
