BBC Radio 2 presenter Steve Wright has died at the age of 69.
Steve broadcast for more than 4 decades on both BBC Radio 1 and 2 and was an inspiration to many people within the industry, including our volunteers at 97.3 Apple FM who admired his presenting style and to many was a champion of the radio industry.
The team at 97.3 Apple FM send their condolences, even though many of us never had the privilege of meeting him, he was someone who has inspired a whole generation of presenters and will continue for years to come.
