Chris Wareing from Apple FM’s Friday Anthems is cycling 97.3KM on 17th April 2024 in the concourse at Musgrove Park Hospital.
He’s able to do this as he’s riding a static bike. It will be located on The Concourse at Musgrove Park and he’d love to see you all down there on the day to give him some support. Chris will be cycling 97.3KM in order to raise money for two great causes* as he attempts to ‘Ride Against Cancer’.
First, we have Love Musgrove for The Beacon Centre in order to help fight cancer and aid cancer treatment right here in Taunton Deane. For us at Apple FM, this topic is very close to home with one of our trainee volunteers Heidi recently receiving a breast cancer diagnosis. Heidi is getting the best treatment possible at Musgrove Park Hospital, but they can only continue to help her and other people into the future with the help and support of people like you.
We are also raising money to help fund 97.3 Apple FM and keep your favourite community radio station broadcasting now and into the future.
With a little help from his friends, Chris (pictured) hopes to reach the 97.3KM target (and maybe beyond) but will only be able to do this with your help.
